Delivery Terms

Delivery

Where we deliver and what it costs

We accept orders from individuals and businesses throughout the UK. Orders for delivery outside the UK are subject to our confirmation that we can fulfil them and agreement of the shipping and export arrangements.

We offer free standard delivery to eligible mainland UK addresses on orders over £250 excluding VAT. Highlands and islands may incur additional charges, which are shown at checkout. Other delivery prices are also shown at checkout. Delivery outside mainland UK, including Northern Ireland, is charged as shown at checkout or quoted before acceptance.

If we cannot calculate a charge automatically, we will contact you to agree it before acceptance. We will not impose an additional shipping charge after acceptance without your agreement.

Despatch times

Our normal despatch times are:

  • Unbranded items held in stock: within 3 working days.
  • Unbranded items not held in stock: within 5 working days.
  • Branded items held in stock: within 5 working days.
  • Branded items not held in stock: within 10 working days.

A working day is Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England. These are despatch times, not guaranteed arrival dates.

The period starts on the next working day after order acceptance, receipt of any required advance payment and receipt of usable artwork and complete instructions. Where a proof or special requirement needs agreement, the period starts once that agreement is complete. We will tell you if information needed from you is holding up the order.

These times describe our normal service. If supplier availability or another issue means we cannot meet the applicable timeframe, we will contact you with an update and your options. Any different timeframe agreed specifically for your order takes priority. If you need goods for a particular date, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether we can meet it.

Arrival, split orders and delivery details

Carrier transit time is additional to the despatch period. We will provide the available delivery estimate for your destination when arranging the order. Unless a different delivery period is agreed, consumer goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of contract formation.

We may send an order in one delivery or in parts. We will not charge extra carriage simply because we choose to split an order. Any split delivery or express service you request that attracts an additional charge must be agreed with you.

Please supply an accurate delivery address and any necessary access instructions. If a delivery fails because of incorrect details or an unreasonable failure to accept it, we may seek reasonable, evidenced redelivery costs, subject to your legal rights.

For consumers, goods remain at our risk until you, or a person you nominate, physically receive them. A different statutory rule can apply where you independently commission a carrier we did not offer. For business customers, risk passes on delivery to the agreed address or collection by you or your appointed carrier. Risk passing does not remove remedies for defects or breach of contract.

Overseas deliveries

Customers outside the UK may order subject to our acceptance and any destination restrictions. Enhanced shipping and export-handling charges payable to us will be agreed before acceptance.

Unless our quotation expressly includes them, you are responsible for destination import duties, taxes, tariffs and customs-clearance charges. Check local requirements before ordering. Customs processing can add to delivery times.

If an overseas parcel is refused or cannot clear customs because required customer charges or information have not been provided, contact us promptly. Any proposed deduction for return carriage or other costs must be lawful, reasonable and explained; it is not an automatic forfeiture of the full payment. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Missing, damaged or delayed orders

Please inspect goods when reasonably possible and report damage, shortages, incorrect items or non-delivery promptly to Sales@intersafety.co.uk or 01625 858008. Include your order reference and photographs where useful. Keep packaging while we investigate, where practicable.

A failure to report an issue immediately does not automatically remove statutory rights. Do not use PPE you believe may be unsafe.

We will investigate delivery problems and explain the remedy available. Consumer rights to cancel for failure to meet an essential agreed delivery date, or following an appropriate additional delivery period where required by law, remain unaffected. Where cancellation for non-delivery is valid, we will refund the relevant payment without undue delay.
